ABE KERR

Having had a career exclusively in the sports sector to date, Abe founded TRILINE Fitness in 2009 and remains the driving force behind it. Abe’s coaching experience is very long standing, perhaps best demonstrated in him being a very successful player coach of his Uni rugby league team between 1991 and 1994, guiding them to National 7s success in 1992 & runners up (after extra time) in 1994. His sporting background has been a constant since the age of 6 and has included : football, athletics (800m / 1500m) snooker (under 14s county champion), rugby union (19s county), league (England Students, semi –pro). Such is his love of competitive sport and testing himself that he was still playing union and league in to his 40s, until a freak injury curtailed it! Abe is inspired to help others fulfil their potential in terms of setting, achieving and maintaining goals which are meaningful and fulfilling to them. This could be from a 13 year old club rugby player who wants to achieve higher, to someone in their 50s who has never run but wants to get fit and tone up. His motivation and drive rubs off on clients with ‘enthusiastic’ and ‘passionate’, being the words most commonly used to describe his instructing style.

Ben A B

BEN ALEXANDER BUCKLEY

 

Ben assists with sessions when he is available. Ben is currently working as an independent performance coach specialising in supporting youth athletes, but also is the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Ampthill Rugby 1st and 2nd Team. Ben has previously worked at one of the UK’s most prestigious female private school as the S&C coach to their athletes aged between 12-18. Prior to his career, Ben completed his BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Nottingham Trent University, then continued his studies at Loughborough University completing his MSc in Strength and Conditioning. During his education, Ben completed placements with Nottingham Forest 1st Team supporting the sports science department and GB Swimming as an S&C intern in the final year preparations leading to the Tokyo Olympics. 

 

Ben has always truly loved being in amongst sport, and fitness, playing sports like rugby, football, and cricket as a child, then when he moved on to uni, playing for the university's futsal teams. He fell in love with S&C as he progressed through his studies realising the impact it can have for athletes and general population to their health and performance. He is now looking to attain his accreditation as a S&C Coach in the hope to move into professional sport. His experience working with both youth and adult populations means that he has a strong understanding of how to adapt training to suit the needs of the individual in front of him. TRF Clients have found his sessions tough but highly rewarding when he supports.

LISA CLARKE

Lisa had an association with TRILINE Fitness since 2014. She started out as a group session participant before being inspired to leave her work in the banking sector to become a fitness instructor in 2022. She has gone ‘ full circle’ in instructing our sessions when she’s available & not working for her own company https://www.lisaclark-fitness.com/. Lisa brings great energy, creativity & variety to sessions, ensuring that participants are challenged physically & never bored. Having been a client previously, she understands the sports inspired DNA  of our sessions. In her company she focuses on female fitness & runs very successful women only sessions in her Houghton Conquest based gym.
